The Highland Club is set within 20 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds on the southern shores of Loch Ness. It occupies the Grade A gothic buildings of the original 1729 English fortification, Fort Augustus, which later on were transformed into St Benedict’s Abbey. The Highland Club is a unique and heavenly place to stay and you have use of the indoor swimming pool, steam and sauna, the club lounge and snooker room, The Boathouse Restaurant, a tennis court and many other facilities, including a cricket pitch!

The area surrounding the Highland Club is rich in wildlife and scenery as well as activities. It is a wonderful central base for exploring Fort William, Loch Ness and even the Isle of Skye is within a day trip. Boat trips on Loch Ness, cycling, fishing, Urquhart Castle to name just a few things in the immediate area.

Overlooking the Moray Firth and Ben Wyvis, Pitcalzean House is a beautiful Georgian country house offering exclusive use self catered accommodation within 33 acres of woodland, close to Tain in Ross-shire. The house and cottage, in a combination of rooms, can sleep up to 38 persons for a weekend break or a full weeks holiday while discovering the NC500 and all the North East has to offer.

Catering and entertainments can be organised. The house is suitable for a large group of friends, family, or NC500 tour groups or perhaps a business get together. There are lots of childrens' play areas to be found within the grounds, a BBQ hut, trampoline, zip wire, tyre swings and lots of trees to climb. A recently added cinema inside the main house with Sky Sports and Sky Q. A party barn is available for functions within the grounds of Pitcalzean House.

There are lots of beaches and walks close by and the house is close to Cromarty ferry with regular half hour crossings from May to September. Glenmorangie Distillery is only a 15 minute drive from the house as are Anta and Tain Pottery.
