Out and About in Fort William and Lochaber

Said by many – but very true. It is clearly apparent why Fort William and Lochaber is named the Outdoor Capital of the UK. Skiing, climbing, mountaineering, mountain biking, watersports, canyoning….and that’s just on day one!

There’s the Harry Potter steam train, museums, boat trips, waterfalls – did we mention mountains?

Head a bit further west and you reach the Ardnmaurchan peninsula, Morvern, Sunart and Moidart where life takes a slower pace. And it needs to be slow to appreciate the stunning scenery and hidden gems.

Once visited, this area is never forgotten.
