We need to say thank you!

Website Credits

Our new 2020 website has been a long time in the development.  It has taken weeks and months to ensure that the information on here is correct, is easy to find and is helpful to visitors to our beautiful Scottish Highlands.

There are several people and companies that we need to thank and if you are looking for their services they come highly recommended from both Catherine and Katie.

Website Build and Optimisation

twofentons – this is Katie’s ‘day job’ that she runs with husband Gavin.  Gavin has done all the hard work on this website and has done it all for free.  Website development, design and optimisation.

Rick Curran – an independent WordPress developer and plugin builder.  Rick single handedly made our business directory for us, he also made the map change colour when you mouse over it.

D Woodley Web Design and Hosting – a colleague of Katie and Gavin’s who has come along towards the end of the build and helped us tidy code up and generally be a WordPress wizard.

Photography

Without good photography this website wouldn’t have the wow factor that it has.  We’ve been inundated with beautiful images from professionals and interested amateurs alike, and we really can’t say thank you enough to them.

Content

Most of the content is written by Catherine and Katie, with the exception of some blog posts written by Catherine’s sister Robyn.  Robyn’s tireless attention to detail along with some pretty cracking photography bring the website to life and this is a huge shout out to her from us!  Another outstanding blog writer is Andy Laing, and he created many of our most popular blogs including the ones covering the Celtic festivals.
