The Highland Club is set within 20 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds on the southern shores of Loch Ness. It occupies the Grade A gothic buildings of the original 1729 English fortification, Fort Augustus, which later on were transformed into St Benedict’s Abbey. The Highland Club is a unique and heavenly place to stay and you have use of the indoor swimming pool, steam and sauna, the club lounge and snooker room, The Boathouse Restaurant, a tennis court and many other facilities, including a cricket pitch!

The area surrounding the Highland Club is rich in wildlife and scenery as well as activities. It is a wonderful central base for exploring Fort William, Loch Ness and even the Isle of Skye is within a day trip. Boat trips on Loch Ness, cycling, fishing, Urquhart Castle to name just a few things in the immediate area.
