Be a Part of Our 2020 Wall Calendar!

Posted by True Highlands in Kit and Caboodle | 0 comments

Our wall calendar is proving very popular and our social media followers just love getting the chance to feature in it.

Each year we ask you to send us your photos for consideration and we then have the impossible task of choosing just 13. If you are picked, we put the photo title plus your name on the month and you will receive TEN calendars to give out to friends and family.

We are starting early this year as we want to try and get then into gift shops so more people can enjoy your photos. If you would like to submit a photo (or a few), please email them to hello@truehighlands.com along with your name and where/what it is.

All photos must have been taken by you and in the Scottish Highlands and Islands. If chosen, we will require a high enough resolution one for printing. We have had some outstanding photos in the past and many from people with no professional training and even taken on phones! You really don’t have to be professional for this – in fact – we prefer to showcase those of you who simply get out there and enjoy it.

So to get started, a few pointers. We need photos from all seasons. And all subjects such as:

Highland Cow – for cover

Wildlife, Buildings, Skies, Beaches, Mountains & Lochs, Unusual (we have had seaweed people!), Standing Stones and Brochs, and just about anything that says to you “Highlands”.

Please ensure photos are landscape not portrait.

Closing date for photos will be 15th February 2019.

We can’t wait to start seeing your photos!

If you would like to stock our calendars from April onwards this year, please get in touch at hello@truehighlands.com

(If you wish to purchase the 2019 calendar, we still have a few left and they are now just £5.50 with free UK P&P)
